Job Title: Backend/Full-Stack Developer
Position: Full time (40 hrs/week)
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using Magento 2 development best practices
Create website layout/user interface using Magento libraries and tool, as well as standard HTML/CSS/JS
Code and deploy solutions suitable to a cross-platform, cross-browser environment
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather, create and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Assist in optimizing our site for loading speed, usability and uptime
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
Cooperate with UX/UI designer and front-end developer to match visual design intent
Requirements and competencies:
Magento 2 development knowledge and real-world experience
Magento 2 certification is advantageous
In-depth knowledge of modern HTML5, CSS3, JS and mobile-first, responsive design principles
Ability to work with UX/UI designers and experience with design handover tools, for example Zeplin, InVision or similar
Work in a modified-Scrum team, producing appropriate documentation concerning ongoing tasks, timelines and finished solutions
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Advanced troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
Additional e-commerce solution experience is advantageous
Living in, or willing to move to Amsterdam area
An ability to work in the Netherlands (work permit)
This is a full time role (40 hours per week).

Salary range: 33.600 - 45.000 yearly gross salary
