Who we are
Join a dynamic, multicultural and mission-driven healthcare startup, located in a beautiful building located in the heart of Amsterdam, on one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful canal streets.
TheSocialMedwork, a patients’ buyers club, is a social enterprise that helps patients from all around the world gain access to the latest and most innovative medicines to fight their cancer, MS, ALS, Alzheimer’s etc. Patients and their doctors browse these medicines via our website and then reach out to us for information and support in sourcing and buying them.
Due to lack of a globally harmonised drug approval system millions of patients suffer or die needlessly because they’re unable to get their hands on the best and newest treatments available overseas but not in their home country. Our believe is Freedom of Choice, so we intend to in the next 10 years improve this situation for the better of patients worldwide.
Is it difficult? For sure! Is it worth it? Absolutely!
We work hard, play with passion, celebrate life and aim to change the world!
